I'm heavily bisexual and I want to change. Please pray for me.
The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

You are getting a lot of info here. Don't believe any of it unless it is supported in scripture. No where in the word is it hinted at or stated that you should just accept sin (any sin) in your life.
Have you accepted Christ? If not do it now. We all need Him as our helmet of salvation in the battle against sin.
I am so proud that you admit the sin and you want out!Yeah, that's the first step. You know what you just did? You just kicked the enemy in the gut and he'll come back hard! Get ready for war cause baby that's what you got on your hands now.
Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10 - 18) Seek wisdom in the word so you will KNOW the truth. Have faith that Jesus will save you from this. Memorize scripture relating to homosexuality. Let God be your fortress cause we don't stand a chance without Him!
Confess this sin not just on the forum but also verbally to God.
You need a body of believers to be with. There is strength in numbers.
Repent fully and turn fully away from homosexuality. Leave any relationship that is homosexual. Get away from homosexuals. Alcoholics have to do the same thing. Just get away from the temptation and influence.
It is going to be tough. Jesus is tougher.
God loves you. Jesus loves you. I love you, too.
Jesus has the power to turn our lives upside down! He can change your heart, your desires, and your nature.Talcos Stormweaver said:I do pray for you, of course, but one must be warned: You can not cure nor change sexual orientation, although you can choose not to act on sexual impulses.
