  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello everyone, :wave:

I am a returning member who has taken a long CF vacation as you may be able to tell. I had been recently thinking of joining a forum or site to be able to interact with others through the web as time and personality do not permit much local interaction. I remembered CF and here I am!

Almost a couple years ago I thought I would be more active. It turns out it didn't work out that way for several reasons. Maybe the third time is the charm :thumbsup:.

I hope to use the experiences that I have learned through these last years to be of encouragement to my fellow brothers and sisters in their walk and also receive encouragement as well :). Hope I am able to make friends along the way :groupray:.

Have done the same thing myself always finding this the best Christian forum on the web or else when I am not so involved in off line ministry activities. Welcome back again and may you enjoy everything here. God bless you for returning. :)
