As far as I am aware you can : But only provided it is a question about whatever thread (eg denomination or christian aspect ) you choose to post, rather than a contest of that belief set.
this is one of my posts in christian advice-
What is the Proper Relationship with Christ?
look at my posts and see if that is allowed if you can. i'd appreciate it. if it's not allowed, i'm sorry for all my posts and will not post again.

That is fine. You are querying how Christians understand their faith, whether or not you agree with the answer. The key is - You are not trying to undermine it.

I can ask (eg ) a presbyterian even on the presbyterian forum. "So why do you think XYZ, considering this bible verse says that and appears to disagree...". And the answers are revealing. What I cannot do is then say "But that is bunk because...."
I can only do that under "controversial theology" - not on the presbyterian forum.

From the post in question,
well certainly keep your study up about Jesus and your best way to have a relationship with him. try to write poetry about it and maybe the 'feeling' part of it comes your way. heck, maybe you'll even see visions after such establishments with Jesus. i personally think i cannot imagine an end to find that true relationship with Jesus since i'm an agnostic and have unique relationships with Jesus and other Christian beings.
Being a self-proclaimed agnostic, you are not qualified to give Christian advice. It may even be GOOD advice from time-to-time, but until you are Born-Again, it will never be inSpired.

Jesus said (in John 3:3),
Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot [even] see the kingdom of God.

HERE is more about how to be "Born Again."

so i've been talking in these forums quite a bit but i'm an agnostic. am i not then allowed to talk in christian only forums like i have been in all this time? just a quick question.

If you're agnostic, it's somewhat dishonest to list yourself as Christian. You should request staff to list you as "agnostic."

And, as the name suggests, the Christians only areas are for Christians only.

I answered you as best as I could over here......

What is the Proper Relationship with Christ?

Drifter Kybe....... I believe that it is possible for a Christian... who
terms himself an Agnostic... .to perhaps have a closer relationship with
Messiah Yeshua - Jesus than another Christian who is convinced that they
are extremely close to Messiah Yeshua - Jesus.

Actually.... I just responded to a similar question to this one over here:

Right relationship with God query!

If you would like scriptural proof that an Agnostic can be extremely close to Messiah Yeshua - Jesus simply read Isaiah 45:1-5......

Isa 45:1

Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me"

So here we have a Gentile / Pagan king over the Medo - Persian Empire... who is held by the right hand by G-d but.....
that man doesn't even really know the G-d of Abraham.

Back around 1990... I became so convicted that there had to be something
terribly wrong with my old denomination.... that I actually prayed.....

stuck my right hand up in the air.... .and quoted Isaiah 45:1-5... (parts of it anyway).....
and I challenged Messiah Yeshua - Jesus to take me by the right hand as he had done with
Gentile King Cyrus..........

.... my prayer was full of pride and even jealousy...... but Messiah Jesus - Yeshua answered me.....
and the last 28 years have been astonishing..........

and I do mean astonishing... I was shown error after error after error in my thinking.... and
in my understanding of the scriptures. I went from a rather firm belief in the Soul Sleep Theory..... to becoming convinced of the reality of heaven or hell after death.......

Dr. George Ritchie's Near-Death Experience

c. His Experience of the "Receiving Station"

Jesus then takes Ritchie to another realm and is shown a kind of "receiving station" where spirits would arrive in a deep hypnotic sleep because of a particular religious belief they held to be true. Here there were "angels" trying to arouse them and help them realize, "God is truly a God of the living and that they did not have to lie around sleeping until Gabriel or someone came along blowing on a horn." These are the spirits of people who believe they must sleep in their grave until the second coming of Christ (i.e., soul sleep.)

But... if he is praying.......
and asking to be shown about his doubts......
he will be led and guided to understand his doubts..........

A very simple prayer to be guided and shown that Messiah Yeshua - Jesus is real......
gets powerful answers... and some of them could come through this forum.......
Praying for correction...... may be more of a relationship than many Holy Spirit led Christians are still into... due to backsliding.... or a Lukewarm attitude?!

Revelation 3:16

"So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."

You are being exceptionally honest.........

more honest than many Holy Spirit filled Christians after a few years or decades of backsliding...... that is a symptom of genuine repentance.... and sincere seeking in my opinion........

Have you prayed and asked Jesus and / or God to show you that they are real?

If so... then I know that you will be answered........
and that could be considered kind of like kindergarten Christianity........
which can be far better than a Christian who is so into their denomination that they slander people from other groups who they regard as competition............

In 1988 I had been a Christian for about fifteen years or so......
but we were filled with pride and self-righteousness........
and your attitude seems to be far, far, far better than mine was back in those days.

In all kinds of ways, the OP's interaction with the community will be better if he's honest about where he fits spiritually. In particular, advice he gets will be based on what his label says. The rules are not arbitrary; they exist for good reasons.

Per the rules, the "Christian" label is for people who accept the Statement of Faith. Another option is "Christian Seeker" for people who accept the Statement of Faith, but who are hazy on where they fit within Christianity.

"Agnostic" is, as the name suggests, for people who are agnostic. "Seeker" is for those who are seeking faith.

If the OP is actually praying, then "Seeker" or "Christian Seeker" might be appropriate, depending on whether he accepts the Statement of Faith or not.

On the other hand......
from the four or five posts that I have seen by him so far.... .he is more positive.....
and encouraging than perhaps seventy percent of the members here.........
(I am being conservative... because he is more positive than ninety percent of us).....

... .so already as a Christian with serious Agnostic tendencies.......
he is applying this verse better than most of us Christians.......

Phl 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
