I didn't say it outloud I was thinking in my head that ,that would be the uf-sin and then I was afraid of thinking it so I kept saying over and over in my head, Jesus not Satan, Jesus not Satan (because Jesus did it) but then I thought if I said the opp. in my head that would be unforgiveable. and then I said that in my head, and then I got scared because I said it--myself but I'm not sure why.

I reply: Yes, definitely! How else could you know that something was done by the Holy Spirit? Most things done by the Holy Spirit are not tangable like physical healings or other tangable miracles are. I myself was instantly and permanently cured from an incurable excema that I had on my right shin for over 20 years. I'm VERY sure that cure was definitely not from the Devil!

Plus, the Pharisees knew very well that the miracles done by the Holy Spirit through Jesus were from God. Jesus even told them: "How can the Devil be against himself? Satan cannot cast our Satan. If Satan is divided against himself then his kingdom shall not stand." And then Jesus asked them: "So how do your sons cast devils out?" "Therefore they shall be your judges."

Although the Pharisees very well knew that the miracles done through Jesus by the Holy Spirit were from God, they were desperately afraid that Jesus might usurp their financial power over the people. Therefore they knowingly lied to the people about exactly WHO was doing the miracles through Jesus in the hope of discrediting Him and thus saving their HUGE incomes.

So you in no way did what the Pharisees did! They lied about what they knew was the Holy Spirit to save their HUGE incomes. Do you have a HUGE income that you can save by deliberately lying to a bunch of people like the Pharisees did?

God knows you were just "fooling around" by taking what you thought was a "big risk." It was just a game with you, like walking along a railroad track when you see a train coming in the distance and seeing how close you can let it come before you jump out of the way. I think you were just "daring" the Lord to make you unforgivable. I know He just saw it for what it was: just a little "thrill game." Unfortunately you've decided to use your "thrill game" to keep on punishing yourself..

God is not upset in the least over your little "mind game." He's WAY bigger and more mature than that! He's just sorry you're making yourself so miserable. But He'll wait pariently until you feel that you've punished yourself enough.

I really wasn't daring God to make me unforgiveable ( I honestly don't know why I did that at all), but I'm starting to see that I may not have committed the unforgiveable sin. I've said things about the Holy Spirit in anger in my head, I've did that one---which worries me the most. but hopefully I'm okay.

No worries! God is BIG! He sees it for what it is: just fooling around to see what could happen. The Pharisees were REALLY strongly motivated to lie to the people because of their hatred of Jesus and fear of losing their incredible WEALTH! And that ain't you!

What do you mean, "can"? He is able to forgive everyone of anything if one only repents.

Please understand that someone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit, calling something He has done His wonderful power a lie is unregenerate or reprobate---and is not going to repent.

You didn't do the same thing. OCD is playing you like a skipping record. Know this and adjust accordingly by choosing to believe God and not your thoughts.

you might not know this but others including who suffer with OCD experience the very same thing ..its actually not uncommon for that to happen especially when you are stressed and you are ...

but it's like whenever I hear soemthing bad on the news, I have that thought about the Holy Spirit (what the pharasies said) so I try to avoid listening to bad thigns becase i know ill have a bad thought or anythign about god, bad thoughts come into my brain. I try to stop them & say not that's not true but then I fear that maybe they are what I really believe, and I feel guilty for it. It makes me cry whenever I have them becaseu I hate them, but I think them anyway & i really cant tell if they are from me or not. but Im always scared that they will happen
