The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

and second that you'll be sentenced to Hell based on uncontrollable impulse... as a Baptized Christian... is inaccurate.
but im sure that was from me & if so i cannot be forgiven.
There is no possible way that you can be sure that was from you and even if it was, you disagree with it, so exactly how have you sinned?
Even if a thought "originates" from you, it doesn't mean that is what you believe or that is where your heart is. Thought is a complex process and often times thoughts form from pieces of information that are restrung together by our subconscious to create a new thought that rises to our conscious minds. This is also the basis of many dreams. Events throughout our days are shuttled to the subconscious mind as we sleep.
These events are then strung together in pieces and random order often with little rhyme or reason and it builds a dream with elements of our lives. Now, you aren't responsible for that dream if say, you end up stealing something in that dream. You have committed no crime nor do you really want to steal just because you had a dream about it. You may just be under a lot of stress and it for some reason and even scientists don't fully understand comes out in a dream as you stealing.
The same thing can happen when we are awake on a less elaborate scale. Honestly, this is what you seem to be constantly focused on, what you think this sin is and what it means. So, you subconscious is constantly processing the information that you give it. It is no far stretch that your subconscious mind would pop a thought into your head like "Satan not Jesus" when you are so intently focused on all of this. And, of course, you believe that "you" must be the originator of the thought because it pops up so naturally . . .but even the enemy works often in our subconscious, so whether it was "you" or "him" really doesn't matter, because your subconscious reacts in completely random ways. You can say you intentionally thought something, but I tell you that you don't know.
Jesus heals.
