  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello everyone. I'm new at this (been observing for about a year-but just now deciding to post). It seems to me that there is just not that much activity in this section, but since I am a pastor's spouse, this would be a good place for me to start. Are there any other pastor spouse out there from Texas? Would love to here from you.:wave:

Welcome as well! Sometimes it does take a bit in the areas where there is less traffic. I have subscribed to this forum in hopes of catching new posts, but sometimes I just get busy elsewhere and it takes me a few days. I hope you will make yourself and home and post as you desire. Please let me or one of the other mods know if we can help.

JesusChristChick, our children, no matter how old they get, will always be our babies and we never quit being concerned about them. I know that you know that our Heavenly Father loves them even more than we do, and He is still in charge and control. "Be anxious for nothing" are easy words, but difficult to carry out sometimes. I will be in prayer for you and with you concerning your daughter.
