I'm a new kid on the block

Hello all,

I found this site just now quite by chance. I was actually looking for a particular minister through a search engine, and found that there was one mention of him on this site. Soooo, I decided to check it out.

Since I'm new here, and I don't know anybody yet, I decided to start out by posting this here, and saying, "hello," to all.

Any ideas/thoughts about what I need to know (I did read the rules), please let me know. I just finished publishing my first book, a Christian Inspirational, and am working on my second book. So, I do love to write.

When I said I didn't know how to use the smileys, one did "pop up," when I did a colon and left parenthesis.
