Illinois!

Hey... where are all the Illinois people at?

Are there really no Chicago-folk here? I'm about 45 minutes from the loop... but it's still considered Chicago... heh... like just about anyplace else in the state.

"Chicagoland" as it's called.

Just got back from Blowout... a huge Christian conference/concert thing. It was at Cedarville, Ohio... pretty awesome. Did anyone happen to go to that or hear about it? They plan to hold two Blowouts next year... one in Ohio and another in Michigan.

Not from Chicago but still live in the State of Illinois. How about 4 1/2 hours south of the big city. I live Olney, home of the White Squirrels, population a little over 9,000. Located on U.S. 50 about 36 miles from the Indiana border.

I know a family who used to live in Olney. I PM'd you about them. I used to teach in Lancaster, Illinois. (Down by Mt. Carmel).

Yes, very small burg.....if you blink you have missed it!!!!! I think the school there has been closed for several years. Alot of consolidation of rural schools here over the years.

The school that they closed was bought up by the church I attended. I taught there for a year. Lancaster Christian School.

I was born in Oak Lawn, my dad's whole side of the family lives in Illinois, most in Oak Lawn, one aunt in Crestwood. I was born there, but don't live there anymore. I was actually born at Christ Hospital.
