Well, we should do everything in our power to help people. I would choose the second option.

They are often poor, and we are very often rich. The choice is yours, but I wouldn't say American law is supreme truth.

I'm just spicing up the future of the thread, Zorobabel. I'm not necessarilly accusing you...

The rubber meets the rode here... illegals move into your neighborhood. Do you bring them something to eat or a packing box?

Ok, we used to be farmers. We often had illegal Mexicans working for us. Everyone did. We helped two families get citizenship and they were really nice people. One of my best friends throughout grade school was the son of one of these workers.

I now live in a large town, but if I knew of any illegal immigrants in my community that couldn't feed their children, I would give them some food or clothes. Our church already gives a great amount of supplies and whatnot to immigrant families that moved here to go to college or the like.

I do not know if I would turn them in, but I would be careful to distance myself from them. I would not want to go down with them if they got arrested.

During the Clinton adminstration and even some of the women Bush appointed flunked their FBI check because somewhere along the way they had hired a illegal to take care of their kids. It disqualified them from what could have very well been the best job they every would have had.

thats awful! You dare to judge these people? How do you know they are lawless and unethical? Is it so unethical to leave everything you know behind so that you might feed and clothe your family and give them the chance of an education? dont tell me you wouldnt for your family just because it is against the law in that country!

You are awfully intolerant for a Christian, doesnt god love all people? Would Jesus turn away people in need? They have as much right as everyone else to clean water.
