Paid by our tax money? Might as well, Or our leaders will find another way to rob the ppl of Tax money. Plus I believe we would be doing it for a good reason so yes I would help them.
Read a book entitled <I>Invasion</I> by Michelle Malkin. If half of what this woman says in her book is true, then our homeland is a dream come true for plotting terrorists. The author of this book gives a scathing critique of our lax immigration and customs polices and the irresponisible enforcement of these by government officals.
Hmmmmmm...That dosnt make sense...Now would it be a dream land for terrorists if theyre refrained from doing their dirty deeds? America has better immigration laws by the way than many other countries...And you wouldnt believe how much immigrants help and what they actually do for the U.S. kick them out and you will have some major problems in your hands...

Notice you said immigrants NOT illegal ones. Two totally different things. What do illegal immigrants offer other than the biggest thing taking away jobs from hard working Americans. Most if not all become RATS. They take the horrible things of their culture and bring it over here and steadily destroy ours. And most that come and stay illegally never have the intentions of GAINING citizenship at all.....not that I blame them. Hey why should I become an American when I can just sit here and mooch off of everyone freely without paying anything back into the system etc.

Wake up! This country is about to take military action against Saddam Hussein and in my opinion we are half dressed for battle. Lord only knows how many illegals are in this country who are terrorists. Our borders are pitifully guarded. We have 10 million illegals in this country and the government wants to give them blanket amnesty! And we are letting more in by the day.

a lot of the jobs illegals end up working are jobs you would never find a "hard working" american doing.
i believe immigration laws should be enforced in some cases, but all too often we are denying people their chance of grasping ahold of something better. people that don't know what avenues to take to legally cross a border; people that can't wait for papers to be signed and filed; people who have given everything for their opportunity to cross over. this is their one chance at survival.
are these people wrong in breaking the rules. no. if you put yourself in their shoes and exactly in their position would you do the same?
i know what it's like to be at the border with pennies in your pocket and dreams of a new life in your heart waiting to come true. i know what's it like to be denied entry into a country, to have those dreams shattered, and to be forced back into conditions i fought to get away from.
so i won't condemn these people for the actions they take to insure themselves and their families of a better tomorrow.
and i would never turn my back on someone in need and i don't believe the united states government should either.

These immigrants, legal or illegal, work jobs no Americans would work for ... And I never heard of a new immigrant coming and suddenly getting a top job anyways. 
In my opinion and no offense, I think that this related to Americans having less jobs is a poor statement. Think many jobs and you will know that those are Americans or even people living in America long enough to be considered one, not new immigrants, whether illegal or legal.And as for the illegal immigrants one. So its ok for the US Gov to obtain illegal immigrants and let them stay and use them to fight against sayyy....Fidel, or use them for other purposes? Why let some illegal immigrants in and some not? Thats not equal and fair. Illegal immigrants dont hurt America in anyway whether its jobs ( there are many jobs still available), they dont waste food ( America is the only country with too much food ) , and space ( America still does not have its lands fully filled )....I think you should be happy that many want to come to your country and work hard to make it better..After all immigrants, being legal or illegal, did help America into what it was today, right?

I think that concerns such as these should take a back seat at the present time considering the fact that we are ready to go to war and we could have heaven only knows how many illegal terrorists in this country.

Thats doo doo...we dont have sweatshops!...a lot become RATS as I pointed out, working in construction, electrical, plumbing, etc. Hard working Americans dont do these jobs?
New news to me!This arguement doesnt hold much water.....the original settlers and immigrants you pointed out came here and started an entirely new country and democratic government are you to say thats what illegals are doing now? NO they should either come in through the correct process or fight to make their own country better as we already did.

Whats the problem? You think we have sweatshops and they only do jobs Americans wouldnt want? Are you really serious? They might do it for less amount of money...(which is why I said RATS) but all that does is make the quality of pay and jobs for us go down.
The point is they are breaking the law, and taking away jobs, not paying taxes, and then they turn around and whine about things wrong with America, I am sure there are some well mannered illegal immigrants in the good ol' USofA (although I havent personally met any) but they are still ILLEGAL. Are we forgetting the key word.

True, but if the INS would do their job better and inform more people of the proper ways of attaining citizenship; and reform them so they aren't an endless lesson in US Governmental red-tape procedure; more immigrants would follow them.
Looked at the want ads recently? I see no shortage of jobs anywhere. It's all relative to what people are WILLING to do for a living (see my first statement).
I personally haven't met an immigrant that moved his family out of a tin shed along a feces infested riverbed that is complaining about America. Working in Law Enforcement, I have encountered immigrants, and not had any problem with their manners.
Again, until the US makes immigration a less cumbersome process, they need to change the slogan on the Statue of Liberty to: "Give me your educated, financially well to do, white collar souls who have two or three years to kill trying to earn a right into our country..."
