CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't hate people. But I DO hate evil. I WILL NOT stand by and watch my brethren get decieved and treated horribly by works of the enemy.I love my brethren and I want them to know truth. I don't care if I get kicked out of forums or churches for it. I was fairly warned by Christ of these things anyway. I will have my name cast out as evil for his name's sake. IJWTS no, he hasn't cooked for me before. I hope he's a good cook.
However, I won't get to find out until much later tonight than originally planned. He got called in to work until 6PM b/c someone walked off the job and they were short-handed - and I have to go pick up the mancubs which is a 2 hour round-trip (we were going to eat beforehand then go together to get them). I hope it's worth the wait!

Doing some organizing for tomorrow's fundraiser!! It's finally here, the second one we've done this summer. We'll do one more in the fall. Right now I'm getting directions, thank you letters and envelopes, and maps together and getting a good handle on the crews we'll have working. My goodness! Then I have to get my paycheck and a carwash and head to my interview for a new possible case.
It's a pretty day outside here. Not super hot, either, which is great. Hopefully the weather will be pleasant tomorrow!
