CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

be obedient unto me.
46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
47 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the
rock of my salvation.
48 It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up
on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from
the violent man.
50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I
will sing praises unto thy name.
51 He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his
anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.

IJWTS-Sometimes when a guy shows interest in me, I have the urge to give him a disclaimer of sorts before we proceed further. There are some things about me that are a definite no-go for many guys. So, I'd at least like to have the "no birthing babies" disclaimer established right away.

IJWTS-the great thing about cleaning the house is that you can find neat things. Today I found one of my great-grandfather's books and my copy of The Essential Kabbalah. Neato cheeto!

I want to do that, too, with all my "weirdo" traits. I think many people want to put it all out there up front. But I've been told by guys, that I shouldn't do that. Like, give the guys a chance to know me a bit without jumping right into the deep must have's/can't stand's. It's hard to do that, cause we're so convinced they're gonna run for the hills as soon as "they really know us".
