CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Great news.IAWTS: I got good news from the mortgage co. today about my payment. I had sent them a message online the other day asking for an escrow review because I had noticed a large balance in the account and they are sending me a refund check AND lowering my payment! whoo hoo!!! That takes care of *part* of the shortage between my former job and my UE benefits.

IJWTS that I woke up at 4 am this morning to the sound of water dripping through my ceiling and onto my first brand new TV.
We had such heavy rain this morning, it honestly felt like a hurricane.
But don't worry folks! My TV is okay
Glad the TV is okay....
Wouldn't wanna pay to replace that! ugh!!

big time great! I jumped online and emailed my mom right away (even though she's at work and won't see it til about 8pm tonight! lol) because I think she's been tripping out about my finances more than I have. Actually, I've been at peace so far about the bill situation because I know God will take care of me in whatever way He feels is best but mom's sadly not a Christian so she doesn't understand that concept.

IAJWTS: Yesterday was not a good soccer day. Our mens team got hammered 6-3, and me and a buddy scored with 5 mins left in the game.
Then I went home to watch the Sounders play, and missed the first 60 mins because the College World Series go into extra innings, so I got to watch the Sounders blow a 3-1 lead.

They are proficient at blowing leads...in those rare occasions that have 'em! haha

IJWTS the Dover AFB is having an air show this weekend, and I guess they're practicing cause fighter jets keep zooming over my building and it scares me every time lol. ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

I wanna go camping with my son!!! I just don't think I have the guts to do it without a husband. The idea of a single lady in the woods with a child, alone...nuh huh.

IJWTS-Me too! I love camping, but no one I know likes to go camping (even though Wisconsin is like the perfect state for camping with all of our forests and lakes).

same here. Indiana doesnt' have a lot of really cool camping spots but Michigan does but everyone I know around here just whines about "not liking bugs or hard ground." waaaaaa!!!!!! Spoiled babies!!!
