IJWTS-That is the only one I'm really familiar with, other than choosing a profile--which is easy, much easier than with xanga. I used to use blogger and I like LJ better, but I'm not sure why--they are pretty similar. I can't remember if blogger lets you do the diary/my-eyes-only setting or not and I haven't tried using blogger in about 5 years--so it may have changed in that time.

CongratS!!!! ...and about the picture...go for it! I have one of me in the cap n gown in a frame on my pseudo-bookcase. I know how much work I had to do to get there so it's a nice reminder.
