Coach, when you say special ed certifications.. is it specialised for a certain type of class?
eg autism/IM/IO/language/severe physical disabilities/ hearing etc?

Or does this give you the qualification to do any/all?

I'm intrigued as to what kind of content is in it now... I have taught children with hearing, lanuage delays and autism for integration at my old school, and IM and IO classes at my current school. I enjoy teaching them for small periods of time but they'd drive me nuts for extended periods.

Schools in my state go from Kndergarten - 6 in primary, then 7-12 in high school.


IJWTS - teh guy is fixing my dodgy window. yay! All the banging has scared my poor cat. lol

The test I am taking covers all mild/moderate special needs. There is another test that covers all severe/profound needs. It would allow me to teach classrooms of kids with specific learning disabilities as well as team teach in other rooms to help teachers who have a high number of special education students.

IJWTS that my favorite radio station gave us a code for presale tickets for Counting Crows, yet when I try to buy them the code doesn't work. Whose bright idea was this?

IJWTS I don't know if I should go to the doctor or not. I've been sick nearly 2 weeks. I think it's just a bad cold mixed with allergies, but it's just not letting go. I know, you guys would tell me I should go. I just don't wanna spend $10 on a copay and then another $20 on an RX...oy veh. I guess I'll go.

IAWTS: I'm sick of being in and out of the doctors office when he can't really do much of anything for me, other than what i'm already doing. I'm just going to stop going.

IJWTS my doctor thinks my cold + my allergies + my asthma is the culprit. He gave me a new inhaler, cough medicine with codeine, and a steroid. I don't plan on taking any of it if I can help it. Maybe the cough medicine before bed tonight. I hate taking steroids; they make me feel loopy, and not in a good way. He made me take a hit of the inhaler in his office...sheesh...now I'm fighting my hypochondria that always says new medicines will make me have some kind of wild, life-threatening reaction to them.

IJWS: I can't believe I have to wait 2 more seasons to go to the starving artist's show I've been looking forward to for a year now.
*single fist shake*


I also wanna tap out there that I've taken a steriod inhaler and it really helped my airway passage clear up. Not too shabby for a whopping what-did-I-pay-again??

IJWTS - it definitely helps my lungs, White, but it also makes me feel like I'm sleep-walking and that can send me into a panic attack, so...it's a trade off I don't like to take.

IJWTS - Erin, I'm glad I'm not alone I don't mind taking meds that I've taken for a while and I know will not react weirdly in my body. But new meds freak me out.

Isn't that weird? It's a strange experience to think that you've bombed so horribly on something and then someone else turns around and says, "Hey... that was a good job. Thumbs-up." And you're thinking, whaaaat?

I end up thinking that I'm either really hard on myself or they just lowered their standards a bit for me & my weirdness. *cringe*
