IJWTS - I was starting to move toward team Jacob before I read the companion book to Twilight - Midnight Sun. It really helped me to understand Edward and filled in a lot of the gaps I thought that there were in the plot.

Is Midnight Sun the third one?No.. midnight sun is the unfinished novel that tells the twilight plot line over again from the point of view of Edward. You can find it on her website I believe and she gives the back story as to why she did not finish it. I highly suggest reading it.
