  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It can be yours. The Packers did play in Houston after all :p

Yeah yeah, usually a rematch doesn't go the same as it did the first time, so if they meet again in the SB...... :D

E- bring it. ^_^

Toro you really make me laugh. The whole world knows that Denver will represent the AFC in the playoffs. the only rematch will be of Superbowl 32 whem Denver slaughtered the Packers. Or maybe 33 when they easily beat the Falcons.

Yawn.... okay for the sake of argument lets say your dream is right.

Who cares, its manning, he would only make it to the Super Bowl to fall short of a ring once again. :p

Sorry but he wouldn't be facing Rex Grossman so he would lose as he always does on the biggest stage of all :D

Atleast Eli was able to beat Brady, P Mannings only success in the SB was against the "dominant" (sarcasm) arm of Rex Grossman

Facing someone competent, let alone Aaron Rogers. He would taste DA FEET once again.

IJWTS: My playoff prediction

Seeds
1) Houston 1) Atlanta
2) Denver 2) Green Bay
3) New England 3) San Fran
4) Baltimore 4) Washington
5) Indy 5) Seattle
6) Cincy 6) Chicago

Playoff Results
Wild Card Round
New England over Indy (possible upset, I think it will depend on which NE team shows up)
Cincinnati over Baltimore (I think this game could go either way)
San Fran over Seattle (if in Seattle, Seattle would win)
Chicago over Washington (Washington needs a year or two, they could pull out a win but low chance)
Divisional
Houston over Cincy
Denver over New England (Denver is extremely hot right now)
Chicago over Atlanta (Atlanta's good, but not great, they had an easy schedule)
Green Bay over San Fran (toss up)
Conf Champ
Houston over Denver (if this game is in Denver, Denver would win)
Green Bay over Chicago (another toss up)
Super Bowl
Houston v Green Bay

I still stand by my original before season prediction of 49ers Texans SB

GB wouldn't be a shocker though.

The winner of the GB/49ers game will represent the NFC, no matter what round that happens.

it takes more than one man to win a superbowl. manning wasnt throwing against rex grossman...he was throwing against a talented Bears D...a defense he himself didnt have. manning couldnt win that game game all by himself. you put Manning on a very talented Denver team with a top 5 ranked D and talented running game....its a whole different story my friend.

we lost three games this year we nearly came back and won. why? because manning had a few kinks to work out and the team needed to gel. once they got going, theyve become unstoppable. i think right now Denver is the top team in he league.

Yes, actually he was throwing against Grossman, it was the fact that Grossman couldn't sustain a drive to give the Bears D a rest. They were a DOMINANT D but they got tired, then and ONLY then did PM really do anything.

They were good enough to get him to the SB all those times before yet always failed.

"Unstoppable" is an illusion.

The Titanic was "unsinkable".

Payton Manning, is NOT a god, he can be beat.

maybe im extremely biased but i dont see any team that could beat them. MAYBE New England, but thats it.

Texans can, did, PM rusty or not, seeing them again would concern me but I don't give yall the game.

We know P. Manning better than any team in the NFL outside the AFCS.

As I said, the only team that I would be concerned about in the Playoffs is Broncos because we know PM and he knows us. (I don't fear my team being good enough to win, I fear our coach not being good enough as I have been screaming for years now. He is the SAME coach he has always been Wade just saved him and nothing more)

But if you think the Texans don;t stand a chance, look at the first game we pulled out to a lead and Kubiak as always went conservative.

It isn't like we got lucky and couldn't score to save our lives.

Do I believe that it would be a cake walk? no, but the Texans ARE very capable of beating your Broncos.
