CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS I got called into work at the last minute today. BUT since they only scheduled me to work for two days this week I was more than willing to go in. I was able to work with the truck and rearranging things in the stock room, along with organizing things as well. I hope this shows them my eagerness and willingness to be a team player. Thus, give me more friggen hours.

Ijwts I got my car fixed in the nick of time. I would have been stranded if I had driven it any further. And the repair was $25 cheaper than I planned

Yeah, I really wasn't into Halloween this year. I usually love it...In fact, the only enjoyment I had was making my nudist joke..IN TWO THREADS.

IJWTS: Why is everyone on Hoarders/Intervention always saying: "My kids are my life"? No, Drugs/Alcohol/Stuff is your life. I just kinda feel like whenever anybody says that it's just lip service. I, personally, believe in show don't tell. If you have to shout it, it's probably not true.

IJWTS- It makes my heart happy to see Fremdin posting again... and about hoarders 
IAJWTS- Had an old guy stare at me on my 25minute bus ride home. The entire ride. Oh my goodness. I went back and forth between wanting to:
-get off the bus
-Go over and ask if I had marker on my face
-Hide inside of my jacket
Instead, I had a rather sweet older woman just tell me that this is "what he does to girls", and so I shouldn't be ... afraid? I couldn't help giving one of these.

I know I come and go a lot, but it looks like this might be my last time logging into this site for a while.
It looks as if my life is about to change forever in the next few months. As some of you know, I want to be a pastor, but I have a lot of family problems.
I am a Junior at a University in Arizona, and my mom has been paying for my schooling for a long time, but she recently told me that I will have to find my own way to pay for not only seminary after college, but also my entire senior year of college, due to her own financial crisis she can no longer support me at such high expense.
For several, very personal reasons, this forces my hand to enlist in the United States Marine Corps, in December.
It is still something I am trying to adjust to, and it is taking a toll on my emotions, academics, relationships, habits, and most of all, my faith.
I just pray that when January comes around, everything will turn out better than I am imagining them unfold.
