CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Who amongst you doesn't see life as permanent?
So... the other day at work I was being insulted by one of my co-workers (which is fine, haha, he's not the smartest guy in the world; so, I usually just let him insult me and just go on about my day); and I finally had it, haha, so I told him to leave me alone (and really not that kind). Anyway, he's been bad-mouthing me to everybody and what-not; which I could care less about it (honestly).
And then, suddenly, my tools have been disappearing... okay, whatever, if that's how you get your kicks haha and I vented a bit about it on facebook; people who really know me, know I am really quite polite, kind-hearted, and very patient. So, they were telling me that I ought to report him (since it's been going on for the last 10 months and I haven't cared since then) to our union rep. So, I was going to... I will eventually. I mean, I don't care if people give me constructive criticism (or even yell at me if I'm wrong - that just happens on a construction site
); what I don't enjoy is when somebody constantly tries to undermine my work (even though it's always correct) just so they can feel like they're better than me for once. He's been unable to beat me at anything on the job, and he started doing it a few months before me.
Anyway lol I've been telling people that I don't really care about it when "bad things" happen to me, because usually that means good things are about to take place God has always done that for me.
Well, I was on-site today and suddenly my Union Rep showed up with a cheque for $400 for me; said it was for going to school
Praise God for His Glory
PS - found out that they don't normally do that, usually people get reimbursed for their schooling from our company; and that's after they graduate the class

Getting a cheque when you're not supposed to, sounds like a clerical error. Not God. If they think you took a class you didn't, and you keep the money, thats stealing.
