CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

East Ridge Hamfest 2012
I saw this sign adjacent to where I go to the library to sign on the internet. I walked up to somebody in the parking lot and asked, “Hamfest?”
He told me inside was where I would find it. That I was to walk past the glitterly tables, sign up for the raffle, and that they would take care of me. Okay, fine. So I walked in the door and ventured in a little, expecting to smell ham. I stepped inside the room and the first thing I saw was a banner that said, American Radio Relay League | ARRL
Oh, ham..as in ham radio. Not as in pig meat. Okay. What a day!

IJWTS that I am seriously contemplating setting up a meet up point between me and my boyfriend in case a diaster hits...you know, like in case of zombies and such....The Walking Dead has seriously distorted my thinking.

The roof of a hospital is generally a safe environment, and usually has a heli pad nearby! And the nearby zombies probably have weak hearts or something as an added bonus.
