CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS- I had loads of fun today. Nappy time is calling me... ay! Tell it to go away. 
We met this really cool british man on the trail we were on. He was 80-some years old and was hiking! To me that was incredible. 
He had a dog names Herbert so I'm just going to refer to this man as Herbert.
My friend was doing a project so we took some pictures. Herbert didn't want any pictures of his face though, because he was supposed to be working that day and he didn't want anyone to recognize him. Later when we came down, we had a chat with the park ranger and he later told us more about this mysterious man. We found out that he is actually a Dr and goes hiking every single morning. :O *MIND BLOWN* I don't know but this old man was like the coolest man ever. His accent was awesome, too!

It was tough, but I managed to do better then I thought. We went half way up the whole trail! It was pretty steep, though. My thighs and glutes were begging for mercy.

Yeah, haha, I figured it was gonna be tough. When Tanya and I were first starting to get to know one another she dragged me up a pretty steep hill, like had to be a 55-60 degree incline (stupid, I know); but, at the top was a wonderful view and a nice bench to sit and relax on. That was tough, and I only walked up that incline haha.

Wow, yeah that sounds pretty tough! I'm not sure what the incline on this trail was. But we did have to watch our steps very carefully on the way down.
Once we hiked up this SUPER steep mountain (again, I never pay attention to the elevations haha) it was so steep we had to climb it on our hands and knees! And on our way down, we sort of just slid on our bottoms lol. We came back down so dirty.

Lol, sweet... that's always a blast I need to go hiking in the mountains again! I was planning on it before finding out that I was going away for school... but, this is much better haha

Aw, no I didn't! I should have!! I always forget to do that. Even when I'm running. The tail was about 1 mile and 3/4 and I can run 1 mile in 8 minutes... so I don't know. It maybe took us like 15 minutes. Maybe more since it was uphill.
