CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, church was really good. I also had free Astros tickets via my dad, but the friend I went with, his cousins were there but they had to leave about an hour into the game. They were sitting in this club area behind home-plate with free food and cushioned seats and we got their place in this VIP area.

Nope, actually her pops is pretty much a geek like myself; he does electronic, mechanical, and computer stuff for work. It was pretty weird, since those things are exactly what I've gone to school for (minus the mechanical, my Pops taught me that since I was a young lad).
She wanted to be a weapon Tech so she can blow things up lol but, she's considering doing something else now.
She does like working out pretty hard though, and thinks something like the army would be a great challenge for herself.
