Ijwts my grandma and I were leaving the hall light on for each other. Turned out neither of us wanted it on, but each thought the other did. Go figure. Oh well..... it's off now.

Yes they all seemed to know whether or not they had received.
The big one is how do other people know that someone has received. I usually go with why does anyone need to know.

Wouldn't you always go Berean and receive what is being said and then test it with scripture to see if it right? They definitely had lots of evidence that Paul was Spirit filled but they did it anyway.

I wonder. Does this mean the Berean approach holds Scripture of the Spirit (or claims thereof) or maybe the Berean approach is Spirit led implying it's actually Spirit over Scripture? Am I ever going to catch my tail?

If someone told me the perimeter of a square is 16m but didn't demonstrate how it equaled that then why should i believe them? I always see demonstrate as "prove without a doubt" so when you demonstrate something you are proving your case in totality. So the perimeter of a square is 4x4 = 16m2. I thus gave a short demonstration why. If someone can't give me a why or how to their beliefs then logically their beliefs are false. Anyone who is unable to demonstrate their faith believe blindly. The berean approach seems the most logical since they demonstrate (or prove) the apostle Paul being genuine. I seen enough theology out there that are based on assumptions. They are unable to demonstrate.

It's obviously Spirit led xD
