CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS - I really enjoyed church tonight (it's a church I've visited a couple of times before) and am going to call the singles pastor this week and see what age group attends the singles bible study. I'm hoping that there will be a few people my age there cause I'd like to start getting involved in this church.

IJWTS - that I'm worried that what a friend shared with me last night and what a different friend shared with me today and what I heard in church tonight won't stick in my head. That in a week or in a month or in two months I'll be right back in the same emotional position as before. That is NOT what I want. I want to change and I'm scared that I won't be able to do it, ever.

IAJWTS - I should at least be trying to straighten up my room, but I'm procrastinating.

IJWTS that I became an aunt on friday at 2:17 AM and that this newest little addition to the family has my middle name.
IAJWTS that she is a very cute little girl and not fussy at all. Just needs somebody to rock her to sleep and she's set. She takes after her aunt.

IJWTS I was just informed that my cousin's daughter is having a birthday party at incredible pizza tomorrow night and because my brothers claim they are too busy, I have been appointed to take all 5 nieces and nephews to the party.
