CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Quite flawed
IJWTS I thought I was the only one! Coffee doesn't wake me up either. In fact it puts me to sleep because it's nice and warm. Are some people genetically immune to caffeine?

IJWTS - There's a few people who do, and I'm one of them. My doc has to be careful when he prescribes me drugs, because it doesn't have the same effect on me that it has his other patients, but usually antibiotics that have no side effects work fine on me.
When I go to the dentist, I usually have to grin and bear it, cuz the Novocain wears off so fast. You have that problem too?

IJWTS I can't believe Mel Gibson was married for over 28 years... not too common in Hollywood.
IAWTS that I finally gave in and started watching Heroes a little over a week ago and I am hooked. I feel stupid for not watching it all along. It's right up my alley
Also, I am on a bread and water fast. This should be interesting. I wonder how much weight I will lose in a week.
