More specifically, what were the reactions you went through as you read it, not once you had read all of it.

I think people already do campaign to end violence toward all people. It will never end honestly. Unless we all suddenly become perfect and dont have attitudes, rage or quick tempers, violence toward everyone will never cease no matter how much you campagne for it to stop. While I believe people should work to help those that have been abused, and help them live out their lives (shelter, job, etc), I see not much point in trying to stop the abusers since it's their choice to change, not ours.
