CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ah. Titanic. I have no interest in it. I struggle to see the romance in it, but then I struggle to see the romance in popular poetry at times.

IJWTS-The music I am listening to these days...may have to take up the offer from a friend of mine to make some bell bottoms for me. That way when I play frisbee golf, get to add in some different style to the game.

IJWTS, I live a block from a cemetery. It's odd because only about 1/4th of it has raised headstones. The rest are the flat boring in ground ones. One of my first thoughts after noticing was that at least we'd be among the first to know if a zombie apocalypse started.

Neat. I found a historical cemetary in the middle of a neighborhood when I got lost in Austin last year. Got some cool pics too.
