CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I always imagine the persistent anonymous blessers (and they each have a style all their own) remain anonymous so as to avoid the fuss that sometimes follows when the name is on show. Names carry too much meaning at times, it interferes with the message being delivered.
It helps me feel happier about anonymous messages, viewing them at that angle.

IJWTS- I spent the weekend flying out to Texas with a friend and driving back to Florida. It's been great!Should get to north Florida this evening!
IAWTS- New Orleans was a hoot and certainly very, very interesting!
IAAWTS- Suddenly, the GPS "recalculating" all the time isn't annoying anymore when your GPS guide is a very attractive-sounding Australian man! Hehe!

I find it a little creepy because it only carries real meaning when you know who it is from.
For example I got one today that told me it's ok to be sad. So is anon telling me I should be sad and I'm not, I seem to be sad and it's ok, I'm a ratbag who should be sad or do they know something that should be personal and that they are quite happy to interfere in my affairs.

I always view it that way, with the exception of the mass-blessers who send the same message to everyone on CF in a thinly veiled attempt at sincerity (though this seems to not be the case with today's blesser).
I wouldn't say that - the words are honest, the person knows each member they choose to bless well enough to write a personal message, perhaps just choosing to remain anonymous to leave the message purely what it is, and not tainted by pre-existing notions of the sender, as Obzy suggested.
*shrug* That's always what I thought, anyway.
