CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Does anyone know good sites for travel? I need to go to Texas, I miss my friend and I can't stand being away from her anymore. I'm not much of a traveler and I need a good deal with my now useless income.

For me travelling to see Vicky, I'm compared just about all of them, and Expedia is giving me consistently the lowest rates on airfare. I always search elsewhere for motels.

Check expedia like Don says, but also check cheaptickets.com
They ALWAYS have some kind of special deal going on, if you check with them oftne you might just see a special deal for you. I was able to get really, really nicely priced tickets across the pond this way

I just checked, cheaptickets has a deal going on right now for a flight from LAX to DFW. I dunno if that's the part of Texas you want to go to, but if it is-check it out. It's running 218 for roundtrip. I checked expedia, lowest I found was 446.

No DFW is dallas-fort worth.
Using the deal it might be cheaper to fly LAX to DFW then DFW to Austin instead of LAX to Austin.. however that's up to you whether or not you want to go through such headaches

extremely.. but advance to booking where it tells you the full price. A LOT of online sites like to screw you and not add a whole bunch of taxes till you proceed to payment. So proceed that far and if it adds a whole bunch of fees and asks you to pay like 700 instead.. you'll know.
It's a gimmick a lot of them do, so be careful. If it turns out to really be 295-book it now!
