CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS-All this name changing is making me start to have the name change itch.
I've been thinking of changing my username, but I'm pretty sure that the only name I want is taken. Though I am happy with Historia.

IJWTS- I LOVE dressing up. No, I don't mean getting all dolled up (although there could be some "pampering" involved) I mean wearing costumes!! Going to the thrift store and finding so many costumes made me super excited for Oct 30!

I wonder if I'm on anyone's ignore list too. I haven't had to use it but I do wonder sometimes if I am honestly that annoying. Then I answer "Yes you probably are. Now, stop talking to yourself."

Thrift Stores = Wicked fun! I love shopping at them because you never know what you're going to find. The people are usually pretty chill too.

IJWTS this morning, I woke up to the sound of my family out on the lanai laughing and talking. I walk out of my room and my dad happened to have walked by, he grabbed my chin, and said, "Good morning! The toilet is running...so just letting you know" I smile, say good morning, and hoping he washed his hands after he discovered the toilet was running. A few hours later, I am sitting on the couch, listening to my dad make breakfast for all of us, and the smell is floating through the house (smells so good!) And then it hits me, I only have today and tomorrow of this. It goes by so fast. No matter how old I get, or how long I stay away, it is always just as hard going back and saying good bye to them. Always hard.

IJWTS, I tried to change mine today, but sadly it was taken, by someone who posted once 6 years agofigures eh? lol
That annoys me. I think they should delete accounts that have less than a certain number of posts (say 15) and haven't been logged into for at least a year or 2 or 3 years. Of course, I also think we should be able to delete our own accounts if we want to leave, but that's not an option.

IAJWTS that I just checked and the new name that I'd want is taken. The frustrating thing is it's taken by someone who joined in April 2006 and never made any posts and hasn't logged in since April 2006. Oh well.
