CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

ijwts two things that are opposite in nature
- i've been trying to get the book grace walk by steve mcvay since it was recommended to me by someone i respected. I received a gift card to olive oil from my aunt who got her for her bday a year ago. She didn't want it, so i took it. I don't really like olive garden enough to travel miles to go there. So i found a site called plasticjungle.com that exchanges cards for 92% and if it all works out, it looks like i'll be able to afford the book. thumbs up for a blessing in the form of Olive Garden!
- now the stupid thing. I moved recently and live right next to a commercial strip of buildings and there happens to be a bar next to me. I can see it from my window. There was this girl in a bikini out there for IDon'tKnowWhatReason, and so i decided to get dress and get a drink to check it out. Well, i don't even drink, and my conscience got the better half of me and so i decided to stop short of scoping it out and ended up just going to the store before the bar. And so I didn't seem like a weirdo i bought something that i probably shouldn't have used my scarce amount of money on. One of those fourLocos. The guy who was ringing me up was raising his voice at me, and i hate it when people are unnecessarily rude, and so i gave him some snarky mouth. Hopefully I learn my lesson and don't get distracted by the Bath of Sheba incident all over again.

IJWTS that my future bro-in law, bless his heart, likes to refill the ice cube tray every time he takes a single ice cube out. I can't express how difficult it is for the rest of us to even attempt to get an ice cube out after that.
Why do you need an ice cube tray? You live in Canada. You can just go outside and get some fresh ice any time you want.
