Well sis, I have not been able to fall asleep. Happens sometimes. Got a lot on my mind and now it is thundering out. I am off school until the 7th so no big deal I guess. I don't know...

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That's tough when that happens...I find though, for me personally...even if I don't sleep, praying and reading the Word, and just being still before Him brings rest of even better kind than sleep

For sure, sister. It definitely does. I feel my days are not right if I don't make a good amount of time with the Lord. Calms the storms in life. I am sure I will fall asleep soon and have a great Friday. Thanks for the prayers. You are always so thoughtful. I am praying for you too.

IAJWTS - I am anxious for next week when I will actually have time to have a few solid hours each day with the Lord instead of fifteen minutes here and there....I feel as though I'm starving
Course, it would help if I could actually wake up at 4 like I intend to each morning...Lord, help me not hit the snooze bar anymore..I thought I had surrendered my sleep already...how frustrating!

This really goes back to something God told me a long time ago. (Matthew 5:29)
I had intended to get a laptop no matter what. Finally, after hearing the Lord's answer on it and still going after it, it took a story about an evil king, a hireling prophet, and a talking donkey to show me the difference between the perfect and permissive will of God. Now all that's left (as always) is for Him to fill another void.

I went to bed at 5pm (midnight for you), woke at 7:20, bed again at 9:30, woke at 1 am, was too tired to get out of bed to take my medication, dozed until 3, struggled out of bed at ~3.30 and took it. It's now 4 and I am still awake.

I was coming home from Melbourne yesterday (more than an hour from where I live) and when I got to my town (still half an hour a way from where I live) I suddenly, out of the blue - had a tremendous need to find a toilet.
So I sped. And cursed red lights. And other drivers.
I hate that.
