CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IWJTS - I just found out...when I get to Denver.....I apparently have to ride a train...not for long (I don't think)..but I do....and I know it's probably not *that* kind of train...but I'm still a little bit flippin' out...
but...maybe I should just be grateful that God is apparently making me get over this too....

I rode on an Amtrak train through Denver and mountains. It was wonderful. And it was a great view. I'll be praying for you.

Im feeling rather un-schmoopy at the moment. My d-bag boss is not going to get any punishment for basically abusing everybody she has come in contact with for the last year. Shes been sent to leadership training followed by three weeks of vacation. Ive been busting my hump for the last week to prove that I can run the operation without her and today the big boss told me that Im still going to be supervised by this knob when she gets back.

IJWTS I'd like to know how cutting calories, not eating before bed, and exercising like a good little girl = gaining a pound! WHAT THE HOOEY?! I'm about to threaten my bathroom scale with a hammer.
