CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS I finally got to see the quintessential San Francisco show Beach Blanket Babylon. It was so ridiculous and funny!
( I've never heard of these. :o I have to google now.
Cool. I didn't know how to. I've always wondered what the purpose of them were when all you have to do is click on them??

IJWTS My God, Our God is soo Good to us
I just got back. I got a call that my step-dad's truck was on fire. The person calling said they weren't sure if he and my nephews were in it or around it. I took off to the area. They're ok. About 15 minutes after they went into church, the vehicle caught fire and motor area "exploded". No body was hurt including everyone that was parked around them getting out to go in.

Added: Ford F-150 Apparently they have a tendency to spontaneously combust ignition on or not. Nice to know after the fact.

IJWTS - That was so difficult..so so so difficult...
and I am humbled by the response of the kids and even their parents...oh man am I gonna miss them....
but eeeeee because I cannot tell you how many parents asked if I would email them my address because they knew the kids would want to write me...
