IJWTS - I pulled my right calf in my soccer game last night, sucks! And I had finally recovered from pulling my left calf last fall

Thank you, FNG. I did web searches on all of those places listed, and found two that might be able and willing to help me in my situation. Unfortunately, many of them don't smile on the fact that I'm sheltered, employed, and still hungry, so they take the attitude that I must be spending my budget on needless things.

The other concern is distance, but that's not such a big concern right now.

IJWTS that you might be able to get a letter from your church asking one of the pantries to give you some temporary assistance if you are not able to find one to do it on your own. My church back home used to right referrals to a local pantry pretty frequently - or would give them a gift card to the local grocery store.

IJWTS I'm so glad there are so many other moms on CF

IAWTS I also miss naptimes!!! That's when I used to do my writing. Needless to say, I haven't worked on a book in about 3 years.

IAWTS Josh has a new friend downstairs, and he does spend a bit of time down there, which is loooovely for me lol. Unfortunately, all this poor child does is play video games 24/7 so I can't let Josh stay down there too long at any given time.
