  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS-Of course you deserve it! You are a fabulous person:hug:.
If he's a CF'r, then we have to do a meetup (that both of you can get to).

Well, he's close enough to me that we could meet just about anytime  I'm just not sure I'm ready to take that leap yet. Right now we're just talking and becoming friends :)

I just wanted to say that I appreciate all who've been praying for me. I slept all day today and I'm hoping I can find strength to go to work today. I pretty much have to work today, because if I don't, I won't make enough on my paycheck to pay the bills and keep a roof over my head.

My biggest concern after that is finding where my next meal will come from.

IJWTS that you really need to stop starving yourself unnecessarily, Rob.

Thank you, FNG. I did web searches on all of those places listed, and found two that might be able and willing to help me in my situation. Unfortunately, many of them don't smile on the fact that I'm sheltered, employed, and still hungry, so they take the attitude that I must be spending my budget on needless things.

The other concern is distance, but that's not such a big concern right now.
