IJWTS that I just learned this morning that our elementary school is one of 7 that is being considered to be closed if the budget cuts in our county reach an extreme level of severity. We have the highest number of students and the greatest percentage of capacity out of all seven schools - plus they've put more than $2.5 million into our school in renovations since July. I really hope it doesn't come to this extreme and that our school is not affected.

IJWTS - We're closing down schools too. Sucks, 4 years ago we had a huge surplus, then we spent it all, now were closing things in our state.

IJWTS that the sucky thing about discount sites like Priceline is that you can't cancel or change reservations. So now I am $414.16 less rich unless I feel like paying $100 to cancel or over $100 to change the reservation. I can't believe you have to PAY to cancel! I mean, so basically it's better for me not to show up at all to the flight than to call them up and officially cancel.

IAWTS that it would be awful if Josh's school closed! He's been there since kindergarten, so it's like family to him. Thankfully, no schools around here are being threatened with that.

IJWTS - there are always loopholes, and you should try using Kayak. Most of them have a 24 hour policy... its either 24 hours after you book it or 24 hours before actual flight. Just depends on the airline.

IJWTS It's okay...not sure if anyone has done it worse than me although it sitll must be tough cause it's tough to get through the day when so sleepy/tired. I once fell asleep dead-center, front row during lecture at a Bible college.
