Not even a book could help you completely understand what the opposite sex thinks. You're better off reading books on good communication in relationships. Once people know how to talk to each other, it makes it a lot easier.

It talks about how men and women process their thoughts differently. Men tend to think "one box at a time" while women tend to have constant thoughts that all run together (like spaghetti). It's an interesting read. I think it's geared more toward male/female relationships. More on the romance side, but still gives you an idea.
