Wow, that's nice. You know, in Helsinki all the education people are the coolest ones. [They just always have their hair as a bun if they're girls... Don't start doing that unless it really suits you though. Please. :bigeyes: LOL]. So you'll be a teacher then?

I have too much hair to put in a bun
Hopefully I'll be a teacher I have 3 years left for my undergraduate degree, so if all goes well I'll get to teach for a few years before I start my masters degree

My hair is super-thick, wavy, and impossible to style. Anytime it gets past my shoulders (where it is right now), I have to resort to clips or ponytails because it's like a wild beast on my head. I just want a style that's cute and complimentary and easy to manage. I've considered a perm, having it thinned out, or having it layered (really dislike layers because my hair FLIPS every which way). Anyone have a suggestion before I just shave it all off??

On a side note your hair is gorgeous. Love the color. Anyway, I know what you're going through. But, and Idk if you're willing to do this but when I got my hair cut really short (i'll post a picture in a second) it was soo wonderful, no frizzing, or electricity or anything in my hair. Also it didnt go limp until it was starting to grow out more.

it was like that exactly. It was really short in the back because they had to align it correctly. IF you like this and you decide to have this or something similar, I would suggest you take a picture of what you want with you.

I love that look, but I just don't know if it's possible with my hair, because of the natural wave/flip. I don't have the patience to sit there with a dryer and brush and straighten it every morning, either.

Unless you have thin hair, any shorter style requires dedication to a flat iron and frizz serum.
I suggest getting the John Frieda Frizz Release stuff and getting your hair cut as short as you think it cute and then sticking to flat ironing every flipping morning. It's annoying as anything, but taking 10 minutes to make your hair look sleek is worth it.

And this is me preaching to choir as I am getting my hair cut short tomorrow and need to do the same thing. *sigh* I really hate flat ironing or blow drying my hair.

Actually I have really thick hair and frizz, and she did flat iron at the salon but I didnt need to after that and it looked fine. But that's just my hair. It's weird. lol

I just don't think I have the dedication And my life is just too hectic and busy sometimes in the mornings (getting ready for work, getting Josh ready for school, etc). Woe is me. Why did God give me this hair? lol
