CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS - The Simpsons is brilliant. Season 4 might be some of the best television ever. It also amazes (and frightens) me how at times it can portray biblical teachings and love better than some Christians can.

This last year has been a living hell, but I made it to the day I never thought I'd see.
I have been clean for an entire year. A full year. I'm still looking for signs that this isn'treal, that it's all fake but the facts keep pointing me in the face.
I love you guys. Tank yo for all your support, those who have been praying for me in my difficult time lately. Things should feel immensely easier now that I havecrossed this milestone.
Thank you, Lord, for all of the people you have placed in my life who show genuine love and care; Johnathon and his family, Khris, Emmy, Pastor Kirkman, Ali, and not to mention much of my CF buddies. I don't know where or what I'd be without their help, love, and support. I pray you continnue to guide me along on my journey into recovery and security. I pray you will bless me in every way appropriate. And it is in your Son, Jesus', name I pray.
