CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IAJWTS- Why are text books so expensive!
Did you try buying them online at places like Amazon? Federal law mandates now that when colleges put a course up for people to sign up for, that the colleges have to list the ISBN code of each book required for the course so people can try to buy them the best way they can find possible. Not all colleges follow this rule like they should, but I was able to get all of my books (save a special course packet) from Amazon for cheaper. I'm hoping I can get decent buy-back prices, but even if they pay me a little lower for them, I will still probably be ahead of the game for money output on the books.

No, my college doesn't do that. I didn't know they had to do that though.
But I do look for books online from people selling them nearby. I've tried buying them online before, but I was never happy with ordering them. I've bought many of the wrong books, books that weren't what they were, and some books took several weeks to get in.
Having the ISBN then would have been useful.

IJWTS-That was a much needed and long over due night. Thank you In This Moment, Sevendust, Disturbed and Korn...even though I have a headache from the headbanging and scratchy throat from the screaming, yelling and singing loudly that I did. Seeing Sevendust is pretty much accomplishing something on the bucket list. Disturbed took the night in my opinion and just because their live show is so good, they can be an accomplishment on the bucket list as well, Korn put on a heck of a show and In This Moment, not bad, hot lead singer but just not my thing I suppose.
