Well, ok, relational database structure is really my favorite but your's came close.

IJWTS hahaha, my cat is in a similar predicament. He has narcolepsy. LOL

I think cats have to find some way to keep "their Humans" running on our toes. LOL

Narcolepsy? Did a vet actually diagnose that? Does he just fall over at random times? lol

Keri - I know! She's very stoic, though, she never complains. I'll just notice her lip suddenly looks like she got punched by Mike Tyson lol. I wish I knew exactly what triggers it, but I guess there's no way to tell. Her health has improved greatly since going to the non-grain cat food, but the lip thing still happens every few months. Doesn't help that she trash picks like a dog. I'm always catching her with rubber bands, straws, you name it.

IJWTS I never knew that cats could get allergy shots just like people. Now I know, cause my cat is apparently allergic to everything. I've had to switch her to a 'natural' cat food which costs $10 a (tiny) bag, and even after doing that, she still has reactions to things. Now everytime her lip swells up she needs to go to the vet for a steroid shot. Why couldn't I just get a normal cat? lol Good thing I love her and I'm totally committed to her.

Animals can be given benadryl for allergies - just ask your vet for the dosing information for her weight. I would try the benadryl before running off to the vet for steroids, b/c it damages their bodies over the long-term. My dog was on steroid shots and pills for several years b/c of her allergy issues - until I switched her to benadryl - and she ended up with congestive heart failure at 8. She should have lived twice that long.

ijwts: this day started out terrible...but it's progressively gotten better. Thank goodness.

IJWTS that as much as I complain about this city (well, there is a lot to whine about), it has a very wonderful doctor. She's an amazing human being. First thing she said when she saw me is how skinny I look* and congratulated me on my degree. Then she asked me a personal question about something I had told her a year ago (that has nothing to do with my physical health). After giving her an overview of my 2010 and my continuing soul sucking search for a job, she got a little frustrated on my behalf and said it wasn't fair that I've been through so much and can't find a job, even with my degree. She even gave me a hug. I told her that as much as I wish I was still in Raleigh (better weather, more jobs, and fantastic museums), I'm glad that I can still see her as my doctor because she's so wonderful.

*I'm at my goal weight, or rather one pound under, according to the doctor's fancy scale! Though I've now adjusted my goal weight to about 10 pounds less, it's still a great feeling that not only am I maintaining weight loss, but I'm still losing.

IJWTS: a teacher of mine was telling me that there are a lot of opportunities to teach English overseas, and that with my degree I'd be qualified already. I was like ahhh kind of neat, but I want to finish my masters before I go off teaching anywhere. But theeeeeeeeen she said some of these places do summer programs where I would be paid to teach just for the summer. If I could find work like that over the summer it would be so awesome! She's going to look into it and see if she can find anything good for me Love helpful teachers!
