IJWTS That idiot bogans frustrate me so much. Sure the 1 bil we gave in aid after the 2004 tsunami dwarfs the 2 mil donated by the government so far in relief for the Queensland flood, but let's compare the disasters here. over 200,000 killed, 1.7 million displaced compared to 10 killed and 200,000 affected. Yes it is a terrible event, but by ignoring that the activities of our defence force and state emergency services don't count in that 2 mil, nor do charitable organisations. That primary producers and small business owners have multiple other avenues to be compensated by the government and insurance will be paying for much of the damages and costs.

IJWTS that because of the snow, the Beauty and the Beast play I was supposed to go to tonight got canceled and rescheduled to... JUNE.
I always knew snow was out to get me.

And I have the song Stand Out from A Goofy Movie in my head:

I feel you. I was supposed to go to the Nutcracker ballet in December with a friend, but then a lovely blizzard shut that down. Snow knows I don't like it and is toying with me.
