CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would but I'm watching "White Lightnin'" which is a fictionalized version of Jesco White's life made by an English film maker. Also, I've already seen Gigli. Because I will watch anything so long as it isn't any good.

IJWTS- Considering that the real Jesco White is a crazy person I'm surprised how boring this fictional movie about him is. I'm also surprised that they couldn't get his voice right considering everybody I know, myself included, can do a pretty passable impression of him

IJWTS- Yay! 10,000 posts. And I got there by discussing if my computer was going to heaven or hell.
lol. Wellll....there are probably cities somewhere named "Heaven" and "Hell," and theoretically you could send it to either of them, or even half to both.

The project is almost completed.
Just the introduction, discussion and conclusion to do!
So much happiness, such poor ways to express it.
This now means my reasons for procrastinating on CF have dwindled and better forms of indulgence can be taken up without feeling guilty.
