CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

if you are going to leave a rep at least say something!To this day I still cant take it when I see my kids get really injured. Its worse when I can't make the boo boo go away by just kissing it. But, they are so brave.
I had a day of talking to An and his description of how his sister sleeps. I laughed so much. He is so adorable. And then Kim randomly kissing my cheek throughout the day and saying..."I love you." Seriously, does anyone ever get tired of hearing that?
I cant wait to have my own kids to see how all of this feels like even more.

Or, after identifying that the dating thing is not going to happen at church, just attend it for other reasons besides that.
Then you don't have to stop going to church ever.

Well when I disagree with what is being taught (on commentary, not content surprisingly for a dissenter), I only really go for the fellowship....including the female variety with friends and this issue.
So yeah, cut a section of what is good and there is a problem.

IJWTS-Digging this waking up early thing. Get my French Roast, 3-4 eggs, music, maybe some C-SPAN, a nice shower, my vitamins that I missed yesterday because I was in a rush to get out by my normal time of leave which is 5:15-5:25am.
Yes I have a OCD schedule that if I don't meet, my day does not get started off right and I love it when I get up early and get it all in and have a smooth sailing start to a hopeful smooth day.

Thumbs up to someone sticking by their friends and dealing with their own issues in their faith instead of thinking a church has to fix or that the 7/11 market of churches will fix their existential crack addict habit.
