  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS - Wednesday is almost Thursday, which is only one day from Friday, and Friday is practically the weekend! If you think about it that way, Saturday is almost here... which means it's almost Sunday, and Sunday is one day from Monday, and Monday means back to work.

IAWTS I love the American Idol auditions the best, too! Once it gets to Hollywood, it's tolerable, but man I love the auditions LOL.

IJWTS omgosh DB, did you see the AI audition lastnight with that kid who was like, grunting and gasping and saying it was a Carrie Underwood song? Omgosh I fell on the floor when I saw that guy. He sounded like he was being dismembered.

IWJTS I went to Borders the other day to buy this book called "Life of Pi." I refused to buy it when I saw that the price was so high.. it was $14 for the paperback. So I went on half.com and bought the beautifully illustrated hardcover version (it was selling for $29.95 at Borders) for $1.60!!!!

I just received it in the mail and I didn't expect it to be in great shape since it was used but it's pretty much in like new condition

So moral of the story is that half.com rocks

Hehe, I know exactly who you're talking about... he was the pale faced nervous 17 year old kid with the dark black hair. He looked VERY emo hahaha. He probably made me laugh the hardest too.
