  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS I had a really awesome dream last night... i dreamed that i was giving a foot massage... it was either a foot massage or washing the feet, can't remember too well... to my CF crush.

IJWTS - I need to give more thought to who I give some sort of Valentine to...I sat with my friend's mom at church today - my friend was sick and her sister was singing and was preoccupied with being nervous about it...At the end of the service, we were talking and in our conversation I said "Happy Valentine's Day" and she got like a misty look in her eyes and told me I was the only one who had even mentioned it. Then she gave me a big hug. ....Now I'm slapping myself - she and her husband are going through a separation...I should have done something more for her :(
