CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Deuces - at least, in my social sphere - means "peace-out." And now that I've explained it, it officially means nothing LOL!! 
Oh, and you couldn't possibly be boring. Even if you spoke in a monotone voice about the specifics on paint drying would that even be the case. Dun wurry.

IJWTS-Thanks for the travel prayers (both times). I am home safe and sound. I was ready to move out of this city before my trip/visit, but now I'm super ready. This city really pales in comparison to places in New England.

It was fantastic! I met a great guy (Al Bundy), visited Boston and NYC, spent a day at a historical recreation site, and just had fun exploring a new area while getting to know Al better.

Oh well. That's not so bad. I regularly yell at the television while watching Family Feud rereuns on GSN. So not only do the people participating not hear me, but they were playing that game before I was even born.IJWTS I need to stop yelling at my Wii Tennis partner. I know the computer can't hear me, but that doesn't get them off the hook!

I hope you have a sweet-paying job lined up if you want to move to New England. I'd love to live in Burlington, Vt., but the rent there is outrageous. That and winter lasts seven months.
