No, I meant my real name... My username is more a collection of letters and numbers really

I think my real name (Shelly) fits me, but I sometimes wish my mother had named me something else. I've actually looked into legally changing my name, but it would probably be too much of a hassle with my work history and future employers.

Could you start going by your middle name?

Yeah I mean my name isn't crazy. I suppose it's just cos my name isn't 'me', it's just something that is attached to me. Cos that makes sense..

Thing is, I do like my first name, I just don't feel like it suits me sometimes. But I like it better than my middle name I must just be picky I guess! Shelly is a nice name, it sounds friendly

I always think middle names are the names a parent wanted to give their kid but were banned from doing so by their spouse!
Or like in our family they are family names.
