IJWTS - I find it so odd each time I hear women say something like that they don't have to try anymore, because they are married...That just seems so backwards to me. It makes me sad that marriage has become an excuse not to pursue each other anymore. Seems like it should be MORE important to do so once you are actually married.
Or am I nuts?

IJWTS our puppy got sick this morning, and now he smells icky

I always thought you tired more in marriage!
Speaking of marriage, my mom wakes into my room. She looked so pretty today. She made this rice dish for someone, and was talking to me about it. I gave a little smile because she does look super cute, and she said, "What you smiling about?"
"nothing!"
"What you mother can't look nice?!"
"My mom always looks nice!!"
And then I'm not sure how it happened but all I heard was...
"When are you getting married?"
"Hopefully, in the next two weeks."
"You give me two weeks to buy a dress? Go tell him to wait for you!"
"Yeah, mom he IS waiting."
I can't please this woman, even through joking. LOL.

I also find it sad that when I talk about my dreams for my life (which include marriage and family)..people think I'm nuts and tell me I have to live before settling down...And no matter how hard I try, they can't seem to understand that I want to live AFTER I'm married...but hey...

I got my course load this semester. WOOOOO.
I must:
take undergraduate organic chem because of how badly I bombed the ACS exam. (expected) I don't have to register, I won't get credit, but I must take it and get at least a B.
take inorganic chem.
probably sit in on undergrad inorganic chem, but probably not required.
Take "Supervised teaching", which runs hand in hand with my TAship
teach 3 labs a week, and work an extra two hours for the stockroom coordinator person.
PHEW!
